Dear Colleagues
Greetings from Kokilaben Ambani Hospital!
It is indeed an uncertain period for all of us in healthcare as we come out with the second edition of the revamped newsletter from KDAH. The Omicron variant is once again threatening to disrupt our personal and professional lives just when things appeared to be returning to normalcy.
The entire healthcare industry & especially the medical staff have gone through a very challenging & tumultuous period in the last 2 years. As we approach, what appears to be the third wave, the silver lining is that we are much more knowledgeable about the virus. The combination of vaccination coverage and availability of newer medications will hopefully temper the spread as we reach the endemic stage of this pandemic.
As an institution, we have ensured that through the pandemic our teams have served all the healthcare needs of the community (both covid and non-covid). It gives me immense pride to state that during this period we have been once again rated as the Number 1 Hospital in Western India (for the 6th year in a row) . This has been possible due to the phenomenal efforts put in by our staff & the positive feedback that we have received from medical professionals and the entire community who put their faith and trust in us.
While the pandemic continues, we cannot neglect or delay the other healthcare needs of the community. This edition of the newsletter focuses on our Centre for Neurosciences (also rated as the best centre for Neurosciences in Western India). It is truly a one-of-a-kind department with Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Neuro interventionists, Neuroradiologists, Neuropsychologists etc. This focus on multidisciplinary subspecialty practice has ensured best in class outcomes for our patients. This edition highlights some of the cutting edge work that we have been doing in this Centre.
We hope that you will appreciate the efforts put in by the teams to take care of your patients and the general community during these challenging times
Wishing you a Safe, Healthy & Happy New Year”
