Cerebral Palsy refers to a group of neurological disorders that present in early childhood as delay in acquisition of milestones (predominantly motor problems). Early treatment prevents emergence of complications and facilitates integration of the child into mainstream schooling. The goal of treatment in Cerebral Palsy is functional independence for the child. Treatment is multimodal.
